Caribbean Cultural Studies promotes advanced study and specialized research in the arts and letters, cultures, and societies of the Caribbean for fully bilingual (English and Spanish) students. Through a unique partnership with the University of Havana, the Autonomous University of Yucatan in Merida, Mexico, and the School of Hispanic American Studies in Seville, Spain, students gain first-hand knowledge of this region's complex cultures and traditions. Participants spend two semesters studying and living abroad, spending the second semester in Merida and the third in Seville.
