We are the only department in the State University of New York system that offers graduate education in civil or environmental engineering. We have 28 full-time faculty, as well as more than 160 full-time and 25 part-time graduate students pursuing programs of research and study leading to master of engineering (M.E.), master of science (M.S.), and doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degrees. Our areas of graduate study include: Computational engineering mechanics, Construction engineering and management, Environmental and hydrosystems engineering, Geomechanics and geotechnical engineering, Structural and earthquake engineering.
