**THIS PROGRAM IS NOT OPEN TO STUDENTS WHO DO NOT HOLD A FIRST DEGREE IN LAW, I.E., JD OR LL.B.** The University at Buffalo’s innovative Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Criminal Law program gives students the opportunity to create an individualized program of study in American, international, and comparative criminal law. The curriculum for this unique program combines a wide variety of offerings that permit students to engage in the serious and in-depth study of the criminal law, with a number of hands-on courses, such as the District Attorney’s Office Externship. The LL.M. Program is an integral part of the Buffalo Criminal Law Center. LL.M. students have the chance to participate in all of the Center's projects, including the annual criminal law conference, the Buffalo Criminal Law Review, the Center's Website, and the annual Herbert Wechsler National Criminal Law Moot Court Competition. By entering the Master of Laws Program in Criminal Law, students join the Center's vibrant community of scholars and students.
