Welcome to the Academic Success Guide!
At this point you have spoken with your Academic Advisor, been registered for fall courses, and attended Summer Orientation at UB, so what comes next? The Academic Success Guide contains information that you should be familiar with by the time school starts. You will learn about:
- The role of Academic Advisors and how they can assist you
- Important resources you should use BEFORE classes begin
- How to manage your fall course schedule
- How a Grade Point Average (GPA) is calculated and why it is important
- Essential resources on campus that are key to your overall academic success
The Academic Success Guide will take approximately 20 minutes to review and you must complete it by August 19, 2013.
At the end of the guide you will be required to send an email confirming completion.
